This is for an ATC exchange where the theme is "Vintage". I am really pleased with the background. I understamped a sheet of cardstock with a large fleur-de-lys, clock, key, and postage stamp in grey, River Rock and Creamy Caramel. Then, I used the watercolour method to get black, turquoise and rust inks to look like corroded metal. I stamped the large Baroque swirl in Ranger Ink's Distressed Embossing powder. The photo is my grandmother when she was a nurse's assistant during the Great War. I typed up and distressed the wedding announcement, and pinned a bit of lace with a T-pin.

What a fabulous card with your grandmother's image! I LOVE how you created a distressed wedding announcement--looks like it really was passed down through the family--I might have to borrow your idea-- I'm working on a WWII scrapbook of my father's 4 yrs. in the Navy--it's going to be for a Father's Day gift, although he's helping me re-create the documentation. TFS--gorgeous!!
