I selected many photos over the last Ten years. Each photo is very special. They are pictures of my mothers children, her grandchildren, great grandchildren, her sister and bother in law, many nieces and nephews.
Items needed and how I used them: 1 Vase the size of your project; Glass Beads to place in side your Vase (I used 2 med. size bags); wooden skewers to use for the stem (use 2 to size the length of your stem); Green Floral tape (wrap wooden skewers to create your stem); Floral wire (to attach leaves to stem); SU Hunter card stock (for leaves);
SU 1 1/4" circle punch, SU 1" circle punch, SU 3/4" circle punch, (to make a templet for your leaves, place scrap paper half way in the circle punch's, punch the 3 different sizes.) Cut strips of SU Hunter card stock, fold in half, trace templet cuts on strips of card stock, take strips of traced card stock place strip diagonally in crimper, cut our traced leaf unfold. Using floral wire cut with wire cutters about 1" using your hot glue gun glue floral wire to back of leaf and hot glue font of floral wire so it will stick to the stem facing the picture. I used SU Big Pieces stamp set using the largest flower on white card stock. Stamping flowers using SU classic pads: Only Orange; Real Read; Sahara Sand;Pacific Blue; Blush Blossom; Pretty in Pink. I used SU Pastels to coordinate the colors of the back of the flowers and pictures. To embellish the Vase and stamped flowers I used SU Pretties Kit; SU Build a flower; SU flower Fusion and SU Gold Brads. To add a hit of color to the Large white flower from the SU Pretties Kit, I used SU Pastels to lightly dab on color. To pull it all together I used a Gold mesh ribbon to tie on the Vase.

This is a great idea. When I make one (thanks for the inspiration!) I'm thinking of flower shapes with the photos cropped and make them the center of the flower. My Mom will love it, I'm sure yours did! Thanks for the idea, very cool. Clever girl.
