Wow, what a tough challenge! It took me quite awhile to wrap my head around the "recessed window" concept...and let me tell you: making a rectangular window is almost impossible! Take it from me - stick to the square (what can I say, I was trying to be original)!
Needless to say, I am aware that the window itself doesn't look as good as all the rest that have been posted here, but I'm pretty pleased with the card as a whole!
Anyways, once I got past the window part of it, this card came to me very quickly! I am LOVING these challenges! I am somehow more decisive when I make challenge cards...well, this is only my 2nd challenge, but so far that seems to be the case!
Also, I should mention that I made my window on a "card front", then mounted the "frame/card front" on my scored card base (the darker purple) using dimensionals around the edges. I really like this look, and I like the fact that I can close the card completely without anything in the way.
All supplies SU! unless otherwise listed.
