Hi, everyone! We returned home yesterday from a great two-week vacation in the warmth and sunshine of Florida. It's hard coming back to the snow, ice, and cold (and work---ugh!), but I sure am happy to be back in my stamping room!
Tosha, Stamps4funinca, is our challenge hostess for the month of February in our CCEE group. Her first challenge of the month is this simple, yet fun, sketch challenge. If you'd like to see the cards my friends made, please visit our blog http://cceestampers.blogspot.com/ or do a keyword search on CCEE. We'd love for you to play along with us. Just be sure to put CCEEC in your keyword so we can see your work!
Also, last Friday's Limited Supply challenge was to keep it Clean and Simple, and I so badly wanted to play but couldn't, so I'm doing it now. I thought the challenge would be a perfect opportunity for a masculine card (they are always hard for me).
On our drive home from vacation, I really tried to bring some of the Florida sunshine with me. About the only sunshine I'll see today in Michigan this cold February day will be the Summer Sun I used on this card.
This is a really simple and fast card I made late last night after unpacking and doing some laundry. I stamped the sentiment in the center and then surrounded it with the party hats from this birthday set. I used my SU markers to color the alternating hats.
TFL! I better go finish getting ready for work. Have a great day!
