just seemed to call for a tent topper. I drew my Peter Rabbit. So I could add the words to the book, I scanned my drawing into the computer and added the title for the book. I then colored him with colored pencils, and cut him out. I masked and stamped the flower pots and flowers. I cut an oval negative mask and layed it over the flower masks. I then chalked the background with blue chalk. I colored the flowers and pots in with colored pencils. I stamped two flourishes, I chalked the top and bottom of the card with green and the sides with pink to mimic the teapot. I then glued it to the black matte. I am going to send this card to my baby sister. She is 14 years younger. She had a collection of Peter Rabbits when she was little. She had a Peter Rabbit mobile over her crib.

Ms. McGiver! Now Way! You drew your rabbit? Okay, we gotta put you in your own classification at the tea party..maybe you should get some sort of artist's tea if there is such a thing! Your card is absolutely precious and I am blown away every week how you McGiver your cards! This is awesome!
Okay, about the bee sting on the butt thing....Poor Dawn! In future insect challenges we might have to coordinate our breeds. But in the meantime you need to ground your bad BEEhavior BEE for at least three tea parties! Bad BEE!
You are the first to participate...I will let you know how it goes. I foresee our bunnies multiplying over the course of our tea party and I fear the leftover bees that took up in the spout of the teapot are all up in arms having bunnies storm their newly constructed hive...Yikes...we will see how it goes!
You know I love you coming to my teaparties! Thanks for the link too...You rock Ms. McGiver, such talent!

Gosh, MariLynn, I am impressed with your drawing!! And I love those big tubs of lovely spring bulbs.
But I will have to look up what a tent topper is.
Whatever a tent topper is, it's a wonderful card and I am sure your sister will love it for the card and for the memories.

Just getting time to check the tea party guests. To draw
your own bunny is pretty darn impressive! The flourishes
are a perfect addition to your card. Glad to see you didn't
know there was a bird either lol.
