Challenge for today's Technique was to pleat the designer paper.
I took Daisy dp and pleated it in a fan shape but was fairly light so I sponged tea dye over it which brough out the pleats. I also stamped a large flourish in tea dye over the pleats to give it a little different look than the BG daisy w/o being too dramatic. I layered this on chocolate, saffron then burgundy. This panel was popped up on dimensionals.
Base is burgundy with same daisy dp as bg. Middle panel is saffron with burgundy flourish matted on burgundy. Sentiment is in burgundy on saffron, matted on burgundy.
Finished with a chocolate grosgrain ribbon.
I may go back and do another one, but I do like the way this one turned out - what do you think?
Thanks for looking
