I wanted to try making my very own 'designer' paper. So I went thrift shop hopping and I found this stamp and fell in love with it. Mostly because it reminded me of the old candies....that you can still find, but aren't exactly the same as they were when I was younger. Anyway I emjoyed playing with different ways to use the stamp: I took a sheet of whisper white and stamped three times on each corner, then I used markers to color it prior to stamping and stamped that in the last corner (being sure to use a variety of markers from the Stampin Up' Soft Colors set). On the other three I did 1. marker coloring, 2. water color coloring using blender pens, and 3. only two colors of markers with lots of shadows and highlighting. Then on all of them I applied Crystal Effects for shine and dimension and let it dry all day.
I ended up with my favorite being the mixture of water colors. I ended up uploading three of these to my galery, here's one: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Enjoy stamping!

Beautiful... and such a clever idea! You have definitely inspired me!!! I purchased a stamp like this by "Inkadinkado" some time back... but have never used it. You have definitely inspired me to go 'attempt' to be creative
I also have a font (using capital letters in each heart) and ideas are really flowing right now, thanks to you.
Thank you for sharing your talents... you are very much appreciated!
