Todays colours are lovely and for me, lent themselves to a vintage feel. I am still making cards for a friend so have used a scripture as my sentiment.
For someone who wasn't into flowers I have certainly used them a lot lately....and have come to really like them!! The flower centre is from a RAK from Peggy (aka Marilyn Prestonn) and friends and I just love it! I have also added a Bible embellishment which seemed fitting with the card. I also did the template for the scripture by hand and added faux stitching as I don't own the diecuts or Nesties.
I have to say I do miss the torn corners which are so very much part of my cards, but have left them off....not sure whether to take off the brads and add the torn corners or leave it, as the brads add a depth with their colour! What do you think?!?
Thanks for looking I would value your comments on this one...

Honey this is so sweet and pretty. I really get all emotional when I see beautiful flowers so well displayed. Don't know if it's the right choice of words, but I'm sure it's the right stuff you're doing. Love this Linda. TFS

I so love this card, it has such a calm over it with the colours, the flowers, the sentiment and the brads. I love flowers and brads, but I also know what it's like to do something out of your comfort zone. I made a card yesterday using torn edges, that's not what I do, but I did it and you know what..... I was really happy with the finished product. You should be extreamley proud with this, it's beautiful!!!.

Handcut template! Wow! I love that shape. Linda, this card is so perfectly 'balanced' in theme, color and movement. The brads are a beautiful touch, (even tho I do miss your torn corners!)
