I combined two challenges today. Today's technique challenge - faux Mosaic Forums at Splitcoaststampers
and today's House Mouse colour challenge - cameo coral, old olive and night of navy - here is the link http://housemouse-challenge.blogspot.com/
Image stamped in stazon jet black and water coloured with reinkers. Masked image and made the cloud bg. Matted with old olive and night of navy. Stitched around edges. Punched holes with rectangle punch and threaded the leather strip at bottom of tree stump. Glued on the chipboard sentiment and the branches. Sewed on the coral button, glued on the branches behind button. Added the stickles. Made the faux mosaic - used polka dot dp, used detail silver embossing powder. Stamped over mosaic with versamark ink and then clear embossed for a shine. Used Martha Stewart border punch on the old olive and cameo coral matting. Attached navy brads. main card is Night of navy. I ran part of it through the Cuttlebug with the swiss dot folder to add some texture. House mouse image is up on pop dots.
