I needed a present for an engagement party this weekend and came up with this. I printed the pic on regular white copy paper from my home printer (in wallet size). I cut it with craft scissors. I adhered the pic to the tile with mod podge. I let it dry and then put another coat of mod podge over the entire tile. I am going to seal it with some sort of sealer. I am not sure if it will work as a coaster yet. The scan does not look as good as the actual tile. The color of the pic in person is a lot better.

Your tile is really cute, and I am sure that the couple will love getting it. Be careful what you use to seal over Mod Podge. Some sealers will make it "sticky"......forever. I have decopaged furniture with magazine pictures and Mod Podge and found that Krylon Clear Acrylic Sealer worked best and did not make it sticky. I am not certain if it will make it completely waterproof, however.

instcollector --- thanks for the info on the sealer. I think I have the krylon sealer. I will try it tonight to make sure it will work for the coasters. Thanks.
