This is a card for my dear cousin (& my longest BFF) who is turning 30 next week. She's only 2 years younger, but we've been best friends since she was born - almost literally. (Her mom babysat me before she had her, and after. ;o) My cousin loves music and she sings in a worship team @ her church. I also stamped a verse for her on the inside from the Elegant Inspirations from Psalm 42:8 "By day the Lord directs his love, at night his song is with me."
This is my first time using my Musical Score background (it's retired, but I bought a brand new one off someone and hadn't had an opportunity to use it until now.) I stamped Musical score first in Chocolate chip, then the Baroque BG in VersaMark and embossed in Vanilla EP. I also embossed the word "Celebrate" in Clear EP on the Vellum - after I stamped it in Chocolate chip - since it takes a while for the classic ink to dry on the vellum. I adhered the vellum layer to the card with glue dots - that seemed to be the least visible way. Stamped the envelope with matching feather from the Baroque BG. Thanks for looking & have a blessed day! ;o)
