I just finished my first ATC size challenge. I chose to do this project in black and white only. I'll do the Scripture Challenge in colors. I didn't glue it together so I could get front and back simultaneously, so on the other side of the striped paper is the word Holy to fill in the tab of the H paper.
I used Black Market Paper Society b/w paper and Paper Studio b/w paper. Die cut the H. Stamped Holy and embossed it in black from Pink Persimmon Stamps. Embossed the chipboard tab at the top then sanded it a bit. put black ink on the spotted ribbon. I just wrote on the verse on the striped paper and I hate my handwriting, but oh well. I stamped "holy" with the same acrylic set as the black embossed from the front. Die cut the flowers from glossy white cardstock and vellum. I sponged black ink around the edges of each and over the bright white of the Paper Studio stripes.
I'm realizing now as I look at it, I may have shot myself in the foot with the flower on the right, as it will interfere with the hole I punch to put it on the stand. Hmmm. Which is another concern...I don't have a punch to do this except the SU spiral punch that makes 2 holes at once. Perhaps a hobby blade for now.

This turned out beautiful!!!! I love that you are doing this in all B&W. Also, a note about punching. I always punched my papers first before designing my card. Then I knew exactly where I could put my other elements. And your handwriting is wonderful. You will always see mine handwritten. I think it is VERY important for the generations to come. Your card is just perfect!
