Hi! This card was made for today's Color Combination Challenge: Baja Breeze, Kraft and Not Quite Navy.
Last evening, Markie and I bought a bouquet of flowers for my mother. Mother was asleep when we got to the hospital. So, we took it home and Speedy the Cat jumped right up and snuggled the flowers like they were his long lost friends! It was hilarious! I ran for my camera, and OF COURSE, he disappeared! LOL!
I decided to make a FLOWER card for Mother, to go with the flowers. She's very spiritual, so she will, I hope, enjoy the card.
The flowers were stamped in VersaMark onto the Kraft panel. I used an Inkssentials pen to add the white highlights!
I stamped three flowers in Not Quite Navy and cut them out. Next, I stamped three flowers in Baja Breeze and cut out the centers. I used foam tape to raise the centers. I added clear Tiger Eyes to the centers.
The Tag and Filigree post is from Spellbinders. I Cut and Embossed both. Next, I rubbed the VersaMark Pad over the post. (This gave it a darker look!) I sponged the tag with Night of Navy.
