This is the homemade shimmer paper that will be a birthday card featuring Glinda the Good Witch once the glitter on her crown finally dries. I took a piece of Pink Pirouette cardstock and brushed it with Iridescent Medium (for watercolors). Once it was dry (which takes maybe 15 minutes, I didn't really time it) I embossed it with my Cuttlebug. I really love shimmery stuff and this is a very easy way to create a nice shimmery background in any color you want. I found this Iridescent Medium when I was looking for Lumiere (why does Michael's have it at the very bottom of their fabric paint display?? It's so hard to see I had to have walked by it 20 times before I found it). I thought it was kind of the same stuff but it really isn't - it's very thin and sheer compared to Lumiere. It only cost around $4-$5 for a bottle on DickBlick.com. So far I'm quite happy with it and happy I bought it. Not sure if anyone else has tried to do something similar with it on SCS before. There's probably a tutorial telling you how to do it and I'm the only one that didn't find it!
