This is my third card on SCS and I'm loving it! My Mum is teaching me all her tricks for cards and when I get older I want to be just like my Mum. I think this is the first time I have written my own description on here, so I hope I do okay!
I coloured in this picture at school during exams and when I brought it home and showed Mum she said that it would make a great card (be nice and use it twice - I'm a recycler just like Mum!) I put the fan (which Peggy - aka Marilyn Prestonn - sent to my Mum) near her chin to make it look like she was fanning herself. When my teacher was handing out our art she said 'whose was this beautiful picture?' and I said 'owww, it's mine!'
I am happy with this card especially with the bling which Nana in NZ sent to my Mum, there is red one by her hair and the three green squares which match the leaves. My Mum has shown me her technique for handmade photo corners....I am doing a lot of learning! I have also inked around the edges, Mum taught me that last time!
Thank you for all of your kind comments on my last cards and I appreciate them - please be kind to Mum as I got more comments than her on my last cards, but feel free to comment as much as you like to me (wink:wink!). I hope I have done okay on my first description!

Hi Maddy, Very beautiful card! I love the red jewel in her hair pin and at the side. The gold fan is perfect for her. Very good job on all the bright coloring of the image and background too. You have inherited your Mom's artistic talent for sure!
