Here is a card for today's technique challenge - Tacky Glitter.
Image for this card is from a brand new stamp set from Crafty Secrets that will be released in the Winter CHA called Fairyland.
Image was stamped on white cs with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and colored with Copic markers. Background circle was also colored with different shades of blue Copic markers. The circle was mounted on to yellow cs that was die cut with the Labels2 nesty. Did some sponging on the edges with Faded Jeans Distress Ink. Background DP is from the Pastel Paper Design of Crafty Secrets. Used the Tacky Glitter technique around the base of the card and on the stars. For the stars I covered a strip of cs with double sided tape from Sookwang, peeled off the backing of the tape and poured Champagne Micro Fine Glitter from Glitter Ritz. Brushed of the excess glitter using a make-up brush then rubbed the glitter with my finger to adhere it to the tape and let the shine of the glitter come out (Burnished Velvet technique). I then punched stars from this glittered cs and randomly places it onto the background DP. Cut 2 more pieces of yellow cs with the Label2 and added my sentiment. Edges were distressed with Faded Jeans. Finished the card off with Ribbon.
