This is a card I made for my sister ad her hubby for their 1st wedding anniversary coming up on 1/5. Her wedding colors were cream gold & green - very similar to the saffron and artichoke colors, so i thought of this combo. On the vanilla top note layer (cut off the perforated edge) I stamped the word cherish first, then the saffron swirl, and embossed in Iridescent Ice EP. Then I punched out the Top Note from the artichoke card base and layered the saffron cardstock underneath, and adhered the vanilla layer. I stamped the big rose and the two smaller roses with the leaves on another sheet of vanilla cardstock and carefully cut out with paper snips, and then used the bone folder to add dimension to them, before adhering to the front. Oh, and i also embossed the center of the roses with Iridescent Ice EP and tied the ribbon ont he Artichoke front of the card before adhering it all together. I used the Color coach to determine that More Mustard & So Saffron complement each other, so I used them together on the roses. The Big Rose represents their 1st year together and their love for each other, and the two smaller roses represent them. (This is one of my last two cards made in 2008 (on 12/30/0).
