Hi! This card was made for today's Technique Lovers Challenge: Funky Fold Card. I couldn't download the instructions. I don't have an account with Google. So I went with the accordian book idea. In a nutshell, this fold is a square folded in half. Unfolded. Folded in half the other direction. Unfolded. Folded on a diagonal. Unfolded. Then, folded with the sides pushed in. Not difficult, if you have done it before! LOL!

I was contacted and asked to VOLUNTEER to make 145 invitations for a Community Football Banquet. Of course I said, "Yes." What was I thinking? None of my children or even RELATIVES have EVER played football!!! YIKES! I think this type of invite would work for the 20 VIPs...Not sure....
The image was stamped onto watercolor paper and colored with SU! markers. Next, I used an aqua painter to blend the colors. I cut out the image. The brown backgrounds were dp that was run through the Cuttlebug embossing folder. I then punched holes in the smaller piece and laced white ribbon through the holes.
The small football was hand cut and I added the lines with Inkssentials pen.

Wow, this is incredible! LOVE the cb embossing and the ribbon-laces are pure genius! And of course the little football player is adorable! (I will definitely case this later for the ribbon and cb idea... too many brothers and nephews to come up with ideas on my own!!!)

YIKES! That's a lotta invitations but this is such a great card! Love the reversed embossing that imitates the texture of a football and the lacing is the perfect touch.

I can spot your work a mile away... this is adorable... but then again I expect no less from you, loved how you laced the middle to resemble the stiches on the football... I am sure the VIP's will love this special invite and boy do I wish I was one of those VIP's to get this special invitation...
