I needed to make some simple thank you cards for family and friends for the gifts that were given to my family this Christmas. I love Stampin' Up!'s Merry & Bright stamp set, and decided that this little snowman would bring a smile to just about anyone's face. This is the first of 2 cards that I'm uploading today. I stamped the snowman and trees, masking where necessary, in order to create my little scene. I used markers to color the snowman and trees, and added alittle light blue colored pencil around the snowman for shadows. The new-to-me Martha Stewart Arch Lattice edge punch (really love this one) on the Real Red block added just the right touch. I stamped my sentiment from Cute Converse and punched it out with the small SU oval punch. I matted this on Real Red and freehand cut around the oval to create my red block. The black brads were added last.
Thank you for looking at my clean and simple card today - have a great week!
