Another challenge combo for me...not enough time to do them all singly. Sara's Holiday Extravaganza challenge was to make a nostalgic card...wasn't sure what to make UNTIL Stef instructed us to use the MacKenzie-Childs catalog for our Inspiration Challenge. I chose this salad-plate from the Chelsea Luster collection: http://www.mackenzie-childs.com/prod...r&page=0&vao=0
This dinnerware reminded me of my grandmother and great-grandmother who have been gone many years. My DH has one grandmother left and boy is she cherished!!!
The card and 'copper plate' were cut out with scallop scissors(don't have nesties yet!). Cropodile was used to punch the holes. The center was stamped with Gentler Times, colored with SU markers, and clear embossed. Didn't want to take away from the image, so only ribbon was added as a finish. Thanks for looking and thank you to Sara and Stef for the challenges!!!
