The TSC this week was to make a New Year's card, with bling and sparklie ribbon. I don't have 'sparklie' ribbon, so I used red cord instead, wrapped up the perfect present! I wrote on the banner, added PSS on the robe and the bunny slippers have pink diamond noses. The robe also has bling buttons.
Here's a little prose for you-
It's NEW YEAR'S DAY
Before you finally get to use that present your husband got you for Christmas!!!!!!!!!
Remember:
-BEST DANG PRESENT I EVER BOUGHT YOU...
-You'll love it ...really!
-After 30 years I finally found you the best present ever!
-You wanted jewelry I got you jewelry!
-I lost the receipt and you can't take it back!
-You should have known the ONLY PLACE I SHOP IS THE HARDWARE STORE!
-I never know what to buy you!
-HEY! At least it's not a frying pan!
The plunger is a gift from Shirt, who sent me an entire set of toilet related stamps. Nice. Love it Shirl!

Bubba, how did you get that photograph of me, snowed in here on the Banana Belt of Canada, where we are in the midst of a 40 year record cold temperature and snowfall - and we've not been able to get out for Christmas Eve, nor get out tonight to friends - and thus what better do I have to do than clean my toilet in my jammies and frown a whole lot!!!
Hey, actually I could use a new toilet cleaner thingy - why didn't my thoughtful husband get me one of those instead of chocolates and stamping goodies? - and that's a beautiful job of wrapping!!!
Gorgeous card, BuckleMan ( often I forget that you have the same name as my younger son, William- thought William goes by William and not Bill, as is the way of young people - he is 18 ). I think of you as Bubba or the Buckleman, and I forget that you actually are Bill!!! LOL!!! Well, the weather is so bad, I am going to drive on down to Clovis for some Schiken as soon as the roads are driveable!!
Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year Bubba!! Y'er quite the feller - but I've got to tell you that today my husband Dave got out some instrument from work - some kind of electronically calibrated mearurement tool and was checking several of of my rulers and cuttling machines - and found that it was one of my rulers was out by - ahhhhh. nearly 2 cm - and thus he has marked that RuLer with a big red X for me.
He really loved the birthday card, as he loves duct tape just as much as you do , Bubba!!! And once again, he says thank you! YOU DAH MAN!!!
They don't call me Yakky for nothing.. say hi to Chappy Pat would you???

Well Bubba, your card has left me feeling rather 'flushed!' This is a man card if eva I have seen one - you have got it happening brother!!! I love all of the detail and can only imagine the fun you had making it...but I have to say ...is Pat getting worried about your 'bling' thing!!? Toliet stamps I didn't know there was such 'an animal!' What fun could be had with those....keep making those cards...I will be watching for more!!!
Happy New Year...and my kids were thrilled to hear what you do for a 'dam' job - it is such an 'in' joke after seeing the Chevy Chase movie...never fails to get a laugh!! Thanks for sharing!!!

Run, Bubba, run. She has that look on her face. Ooops, I think you might be about to wear that plunger as a New Years hat. Super cute card and I love the poem. Oh, what kind of twisted mind would think of a plunger as a gift? LOL Never mind, you don't have to answer that one.
Great job on the challenge and thanks so much for the chuckle.
