My dad is really ill and he needed a card to give my mom since he hasn't left the house in over a month. Of course, I found out he needed a card a day before, so I was playing with Sleigh Bells Ring and this DP that has been laying around forever.
I didn't exactly use the layout from SC208, but as I was playing with my layout I remembered the challenge and this is the end result.
I colored my scene with reinkers and then covered the entire scene with II. I added the pin and beads. This is the first time I have ever used the pins and beads and was really hesitant, but overall, I think I like it.
So, what do you think?

I think your dad was so proud to know that he could call his daughter with a card request the day before, and she came through with flying colors. beautiful scene; beautiful card.

Friends are like the walls of a house. Sometimes they hold you up, sometimes you lean on them. But sometimes, it's enough to know they're just standing by.
I love this stamp set and used it for my Christmas cards in 2008. You did a beautiful job with your coloring and the EP gives a really special touch--I wish I had thought of doing that! I love the colors you chose. You did a very nice job and I'm sure your Dad was proud to give it to your Mom.
