Here is my card for today's Holiday Extravaganza.
I really enjoyed this.
Square card - no problem, love squares.
Scallops,
More than 3 words in a sentiment on the front of the card.
Ribbon - DH said how about a challenge that said NO ribbon.
I stamped this lovely peacock from Frantic Stamper with Versafine Black, and coloured it with H2Os. Then DH and I disagreed about how to cut it out, (it was unmounted so it wasn't easy to tell which way to angle it!) so the first one was a bit tipsy looking, leaning forwards. I'd said all along that the leg should be perpendicular to the ground...I was lucky to find more white card for stamping on - DH almost annihilated my supply for a mystery card he is making me.
Edged with a silver pen, and added ribbon round the 3 empty corners. The base is green Core'dinations on a square card base, and for the blue mat I punched one edge with the scallop punch, punched out holes with a Fiskars eyelet setter and edged the mat and holes with a silver pen. And that was it - a perfect quick and easy Sunday card apart from the tipsy peacock. And not going to stay on display long, as my sister's birthday is early January. The colours in this reminded me of a dragonfly embroidery I did for her a few years back.

How fun that your hubby likes to add his input. I am not even sure mine knows I stamp. LOL. Great image. I think it is such a pretty color. Super job. TFS
