Hi! This card was made for today's Sketch Challenge.
I have to admit that I'm a bit slap happy and have spent most of the night reading with Markie and Speedy the Cat. Yes, Markie has school today...And, he will be fine. He has a sleeping disorder....Now, why didn't I let him stamp into the wee hours? Well....I WANTED him to fall asleep! LOL!
So, of course, he did, right beside me on the couch. If I had moved, well, he would have woken up....So...I had to rush this morning! LOL!
I stamped the image on Watercolor paper and colored with markers. I used an aqua painter to blend. I cut out the image and layered it with dimensionals. I had the horseshoe charm in a box of "stuff" and decided to use it as part of the sentiment! I swear, I heard Speedy the Cat sigh when he read it! LOL!
The background was made by squishing up a piece of Creamy Caramel. I smoothed it out and rubbed a Creamy Caramel pad over it!
The stars are studs! I wanted the faux leather to look like a bridle...The scene was sponged. I cut off a piece of a BIRD set to use as grass! The fence is twigs from my Snowman Arm Bush and twine!
What do you think!
Please visit my blog for a mini tutorial on how to apply studs to paper, cut and use the "grass" and a link to how to create the faux leather: http://stampinwithmarkiesmom.blogspot.com

I just love what you can do with a little bit of paper and ink! The colors are perfect for this cute little guy and the fence is sheer genius! Nice job!!
