Isn't this challenge the best for using those things you have in your 'bits and bobs' box (as my Mum would say!) I have been looking at old cards that I have been given or kept myself and am going to FINALLY do something with them.
I have used this stunning rose picture. It is part of a bundle of cards a friend passes onto me, knowing I love to recycle. I used the Textured Textile EF as my cardstock and then ticketed the corners with my small circle punch, layering the card on textured dusty rose pink card, adding a pearl in each corner. I also cut part of the sentiment from the same card, it reads 'Roses Mean Remembrance' inking it and layering as well. The braid I have used is from an old lounge (hope no-ones missed it!!!) and then I ran a string of small pearls underneath it. Finally I used one of my favourite things, torn corners, they always seem to finish this style of card off nicely, I guess they are a bit of a trade mark of mine by now!
Thanks for looking, for stopping and 'smelling the roses' with me, I hope you enjoyed it and thank you for your comments, they are very kind

Ah.. and lovely roses they are! I love how you have photographed this in your garden Linda! The pearls are so perfect with the torn edges and the cuttlebug. Very warm and loving card!

Just so romantic. Love this rose and your trademark torn corners. Great pearls embellies and the pink braid ribbon looks just like the one I got but in different colors. Fabulous card, fun take on the challenge. TFS
