I wasn't going to play today because I couldn't come up with anything. But I started looking around my craft room, and I remembered this frame I had cut out with my Sizzix a long time ago, and had used my new-at-the-time 5 inch XYRON. It's been sitting on the Xyron paper for a couple years! A few weeks ago I got some sponges for watercoloring. I played around with them on a scrap piece of watercolor paper. Also used some Brilliance ink with the sponges just to see what they would do. The picture in the frame is the result of my play. I had some buttons left over from a dress I made my granddaughter last summer. And I found this yarn left from a project years and years ago. I stitched around the frame (not sure I'm happy with it) and found paper that sort of matched the paints and inks and this is the result. So I guess I played after all!
What do you think?
Thanks for looking and have a blessed day!
