A magical night by all accounts,
Reindeer guided with gold corded mounts.
A little man all dressed in red,
Working away while others are abed.
He comes to your house without making a noise,
Delivering presents to good girls and boys.
And why would a person do such a thing?
He does it in honor of a very great King.
A babe who was born on this very night,
A king who came, to set things to right.
Now for those who choose not believe,
In Santa Claus on this Christmas eve.
You've forgotten the magic you felt as a child,
As you looked under the tree, where the presents were piled.
So on this magical night, when you celebrate with cheer,
Gather your children, hold them quite near.
Tell them the story of a babe who is King,
Who came to earth, the Angels all sing.
A magical night, unlike any other,
A time when all, are at peace with one another.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Ohhh BuckleMan!! You are truly a wonderful poet! The card is truly magical and lovely - but the verse you have written is just as special - or maybe even more special than your beautiful card!! That is just lovely - fantastic!!!
