This is another Christmas card for my stash. It turned out not to be too hard so I made several of this one and kept if post office friendly by leaving off any bows and bulky embellishments. The snowman is popped up on dots but otherwise the card is flat.
This card is based on Michelle Zindorf's adorable cardinal card here CC135 JOY by Zindorf at Splitcoaststampers
I changed the layout, the sentiment and instead of the cardinal I used the PTI snowman from Made of Snow, used some red card stock and made my card rectangular instead of square. I tore a large strip of Eclipse tape to make the horizon for my snow and then sponged on my colors beginning with Marigold Morning in the center, followed by Soft Sky and then some Blue Bayou, working toward Buckaroo Blue and then finally Night of Navy at the horizon and the top of the card.
This Snowman set from PTI was so much fun to use and color! I'm only sad that my Christmas cards are done so now maybe I"ll make some thank you cards with these adorable snowmen. The sentiment is from PTI's Christmas Wishes set (I think that' s what it's called). This set has been used over and over again this year. I"m so glad I purchased it. It has a lot of wonderful holiday sayings.
