Here is a card that was made using the dryer sheet technique. [see the resource page or see here: Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers
It is hard to see the glitter, but it quite pretty and with this technique the glitter stays on the card [not all over everywhere else].
I used five black 1/4 punched circles as embellishments as I will be postal mailing these holiday cards and don't want the added weight or thickness of hardware. I kept the rest of the card simple so that the glittery tree would remain the focal point.

This is so pretty. I have never tried this technique. It makes such a great holiday look for your tree. I like the blocked look. Very pretty and perfect for a postage friendly card. TFS

Lovely Christmas card, Marilyn... Love the layout, colours and circle embellishments. Love the sparkly tree image... I will have to try the dryer sheet technique... wonderful postage friendly card...
