Made this card for a friend of my husband.........a big deer hunter, too. He was on his way home from W. Va. for Thanksgiving from hunting a week, and hit a patch of black ice and thrown from his car. Thought this was an appropriate card for him.
I used creamy caramel for the card, brilliant blue for the backer, black behind the deer, water color paper for the deer and get well. I water colored the image with aquapainter, the water is mixed with sky blue and a little olive green to change color for water, and sky blue for the sky. White gel pen at edge of the grass for the water's edge, and on the horns. Black journal pen fine point to enhance the grass around the deer's feet. Black button brads for the get well tag. I used the black journal pen for the buck's eye and nose, and writing get well on the tag. I used some white and smeared with my finger to give the trees a shaded look, ad the water's edge at the sky line.
