Here is my card for Cindy's 23rd Teapot Challenge http://mothermark.blogspot.com/2008/...uesday-23.html.
As soon as I saw the pot, I knew I wanted to make this card. The design comes from a book called White Christmas, which is Christmas card designs based on origamic architecture.( White Christmas, by Chatani and Nakazawa). A friend gave it to me because although she loved the book, she couldn't be doing with all that cutting out and she knew that DH and I would actually use it. I think we made 4 cards from it last year...
The inside is the origamic architecture tree, cut out on off-white Bazzill Bling, with the edges and the star dusted with Stickles. I added a Basic Grey rub-on when I couldn't find my Joyeux Noel stamp anywhere.

OMG! How cool is this? What a beautiful card inside.....What is so cool about a card like this is that when you open it up expecting to just have a note from the sender, you have another wonderful thing to look at! I love this....you did such nice job on it! I can really see how the teapot inspired you to get your book out and take a look.
Thanks for coming again Sabrina! I love having you at the tea party each week.....I look forward to seeing you!
We got about 4 inches of snow last night which feels more normal for winter in Colorado.
