Wow, it has certainly been a while since I last posted any cards here.
So for today, I am killing 3 birds with 1 stone and combining 3 challenges. First of all today's color challenge to use Sahara Sand, Very Vanilla and Basic Black, the Tuesday Crafty Secret Forum challenge to add buttons to you hearts delight, and the Christmas Spirit Challenge over at Noel Mignon with Michele Kovaks sketch.
The Santa image from the Vintage Christmas stamp set of Crafty Secrets Clear Art stamps was stamped on Very Vanilla cs with Onyx Black Versafine. Then cut with a scalloped circle Nestability and embossed. The edges of the scallop circle was distressed by sponging Sahara Sand all around the edges. This was matted onto black, Sahara Sand then black cs. Background very vanilla cs was stamped randomly with the star from the Chirstmas Joy stamp set of Crafty Secrets with Sahara Sand then mounted onto the black cs base. Another piece of very vanilla cs was stamped again with the star and distressed on the edges with Sahara Sand. Underneath this layer is a black layer that was punch with a Martha Stewart lace border punch. Added black ribbon on the center, circle metal pieces (JOY) and 2 buttons to the top corners.
