Woo Hoo... I managed to combine three challenges in one... Here is my inspired Holiday wrapped gift card, this weeks sketch challenge and last weeks technique challenge.. I used the tree designer paper that Julia (artystamper) gave me last year in my Elf package --- thanks Julia.. I used my retro tree stamp, stamped once on white card stock which I ran through the CB with the swiss dot folder, stamped the images again on old olive and real red with basic black ink. Cut out the trees, added the white gel dots and diamond stickles. Cut out the squares with may plain and scalloped nestabilities. Inked edges with real red. Pierced holes in the scallops. card is 4 x 4. I made the pop up card base with white card stock, next is old olive, real red, then the white CB swiss dot panel. Vertical panel old olive and tree dp. Used a strip of striped dp and matted with real red. Edges were stitched and sponged with RR.
On the inside I made two square of the CB swiss dot panels, added the striped dp. Stitched around edges. Stamped and coloured the Merry Christmas sentiment, sponged edges and matted with scalloped rectangle. The section where the gift card goes, I used my SU scalloped border punch on the red strip. Added the green Olive olive strip and stitched 3 of the edges leaving the scalloped edge open. Punched out the tree dp circles with my 1/4 circle punch.
