Well, this has certainly been a challenge. I have made this 60th birthday card for one of the Teachers at our childrens school, he lives out on a property and it is where our chickens go to 'retire' and that is all I want to know about it...he knows that whenever we ask 'how are the chickens going?' just to say 'they're good!' Anything else would be too much information for me!!!
The animal part of the challenge was easy, I had this rooster off an old card and he was perfect (I just love that recycling!) I was inspired by one of Susan's (aka One4Joy) cards with some chook wire on it, so I used a piece of guttergard and ran it through the CB, then ran the white ink pad across it, to give that effect.
Stamps: Any animal, plus 2 more (a max of 3 stamps)- I have counted the rooster, plant and egg as one, as they are all together on the one card, I seperated them when I cut them out, Happy Birthday is my 2nd and 60th my third
Paper and Ink: Any 3, one must be pink - You may wonder where it is..but it is there - the ink on Happy Birthday is pink! Iused a CB layer and one DP
Embellishments: Any 3 embellishments, but no more than 3 - ribbon and screws - does 'blood, sweat and tears count'!?'
So there you have it....hope you like it, thanks for looking, I really appreciate (and enjoy) your comments.

Aaaack! Is this what you do when I sleep? Oh my goodness Linda! I don't know here to start, other than I love chickens! His tail feathers are wonderful and the colors you used are so rich! Now I will be looking at everything, wondering 'would that fit in my CB?' Beautiful!

Great recycling there, that rooster is just perfect for the birthday guy. And your embossed background is so clever - who needs the chickenwire stamp when you can do that!!
