I made this card for this month's Cards for a Cause, which is Operation Quiet Comfort. Operation Quiet Comfort shows support for our wounded soldiers. Our cards are to show our gratitude for their sacrifice and service.
This card was made using mostly DP. The layout was copied from Julee Tilman at Verve. You can find the card layout here posted Friday, 11/14/08. http://poeticartistry.blogspot.com/s...&max-results=8 (Thanks for the inspiration, Julee.)

Lori, this is so fabulous! Your patriotic papers and sentiment are so wonderful. I did tons of cards for Iraqi soldiers last christmas, but never for any wounded soldiers! How great is your creativity and your unselfish sense of giving back!
