1. Okay, when I first clicked in to the website, I had visions of a cute black and white polka dotted dress and after going through 42,000 photos, no such luck! I settled for a black and white checkered one!
2. In honor of this Mad Men challenge, I am officially admitting that I must be Mad as well. I cut all these 1 inch squares out, glued them down like a puzzle, tediously tried to place 12 pearl brads perfectly in a curved row, and hand sewed buttons on all of which took me forever and brought up the question...why am I making this card? But, hey, I do love a good inspiration challenge and I SEWED!!
3. I have never seen this show, but looking at the photo of *my girl* she most definately works in an office full of good looking men, lives at home with her parents, and is shamelessly trying to seduce the only man in the office that is married with 3 kids! (Yikes!) Oh yeah, she also is cold as evidenced by the goosebumps on her neck but if she puts her sweater on she won't look as good. Or maybe the goosebumps are cuz he's walking down the hall right now!! She oughta get placed on the naughty list!
4. Hey Stef!! Do I have the scenario down right?

Your summary of the show is hilarious! I've never seen it either, but I love, Love, LOVE your card! All that stitchin' and cuttin' and lining up paid off big time!

Just brilliant. I don't even need to click on your link, I just LOVED that picture. I'd wear a dress like that one - I think.
Shame you couldn't find any polka dots among all those photos - I'm just surprised you didn't translate the checks into dots.
Got to laugh at those goose-bumps!!!

OMGosh, Cindy! Fabulous card! You captured the checked dress absolutely perfectly! You are a patient one! Can't believe you cut and placed all those checks! The pearl necklace is awesome and I love the ribbon and buttons!
