This card, measuring 5 1/2" square, was made for multiple challenges. First my SCS friend Stampinkaren posted a challenge to us Skinny Boppers to use a stamp that had never seen ink. Then my SCS friend OhioMary generously sent us a lovely bookmark and some paper and then challenged us to make a card using some of that paper. So using these challenges, today's Ways to Use It - Pearls challenge and yesterday's sketch challenge SC203, here's my card. The small squares are the reverse side of the dp used for the medallion. The River Rock layer was stamped with an Inkadinkadoo stamp in Soft Sky. The penquin's hat was watercolored with soft sky, and his feet, beak and pompom were watercolored with Pumpkin Pie. And though it doesn't show in the picture the white part of the penquin was painted with Twinkling H20s Heavenly White for a pearly shimmer. I threaded the ribbon through the holes in the scallops. The hardest part was putting on those tiny pearls! LOL. What do you think?
