This is my submission for Category 2 of this month's card contest over in the Wish-RAK Group. We were to make a card using a Wish-RAK received item and embossing. Jen2972 sent me the awesome Thankful Thoughts/girls image.
My card base (layout by Taylored Expressions blog http://tayloredexpressions.blogspot....llenge_14.html) is Barely Banana, followed by a Kiwi Kiss layer. I dry embossed two thirds of the Kiwi cs with the Swiss Dots folder and rubbed on those white polka dots.
Since Jen already stamped those girls in black for me, I colored them again with my VersaMarker so I could clear emboss them. I sponged in the sun with Barely Banana and Summer Sun. The sky is a combination of Baja Breeze, Pacific Point and Night of Navy. The grass is a combination of Kiwi Kiss and Old Olive. I used Zindorf's technique of ripping Post-It Notes to sponge in the hills in the distance. This panel is layered on Barely Banana with a Hodgepodge piece and a bit of retired SU ribbon. The Pocket Silhouettes squares were done pretty much the same way as the main panel, except that I stamped the images with VersaMark and then embossed them Black Detail Embossing Powder.
