cI made this card for the November VSN, “Cabaret”. Our hostess for this challenge, Katherine (beadfreak22), invited us to celebrate the “seedy side of Cabaret” – Strip Tease – by creating a card that contained and element that could be removed.
I didn’t want to make another pocket card or book mark card, so I decided to make a card for an occasion. The tag, hidden inside the shoe, explains the purpose of the card – in this case, a new home announcement.
Using the Cricut Expression to cut “the old woman’s shoe”, I used the contrasting roof piece to fashion a tag that could be removed. I’ll post detailed instructions for how to do this on my blog later in the week.
