(May-2009, I had leftover pieces from teaching this technique and project. I've assembled them and am using them for May 2009's Christmas Card Challenge. One of my personal challenges this year is to use things I already have, and that includes using up near-complete items.)
This is the card I used to introduce Michelle Zindorf's brayering technique. Background was stamped with snowflake in craft white ink with Dazzling Diamonds applied and edged sponged in eggplant. The focal piece was die-cut from whisper white, brayered on the diagonal: first Bashful Blue; then Lavender Lace; then perimeter of the die-cut was heavily sponged with eggplant. Skaters were stamped using Chocolate Chip, 3 times WITHOUT reinking between images. Merry Christmas is stamped in Choc Chip in lower right quadrant. Snowflake was then stamped in upper left corner using white craft ink (it will be subtle). Add taffeta ribbon to background CS then adhere die-cut over it, use a glue-dot to adhere knotted piece of ribbon at edge of die-cut.
