So I was determined to use the new color combo I came up with (on another card I posted today) but in the end just had to go with the black (I think you'll agree)! I'm so excited with how the watercolor crayons worked on this image- guess I've only used them on while or vanilla before?!? Anyway, I embossed the flower image in black then scribbled in the lines with the blush blossom crayon and blended a bit with aquapainter. It is sort of shimmery- almost like that old Floor Polish and Pearl-ex technique!
Anyway, the blossom piece is wheeled with sahara sand- my go to ink when using kraft (although I wish there was a kraft colored ink!). The sentiment is embossed in black- man do those stripes look sharp embossed- and the center oval is raised on dimensions.
You know what is funny?! I started out loving this card while making it, then went through about 10-15 minutes of really struggling and not even sure if it would work at all, then ended up really liking it again. It's the black brads- they really threw me off bit the holes were already there. Anyway, TFL!
