These are the christmas cards that I am making for my mom. The image is embossed in night of navy and then I sponged on ballet blue. I embossed the whole image oval with glittered ep. It is mounted on night of navy and placed on a ballet blue base. The ribbon is a white organdy. I feel that the card is still missing something. What is your take?

Hi there, here's a thought on your dilemma. You could move the image that you already have stamped & mounted to the right & then stamp Mary & Joseph on the left on the background CS. It would be as though they are heading into Jerusalem If you were to do this I would probably not use the ribbon as this might be too much, but try it & see.
You could also try stamping Mary & Joseph & cutting them out & mounting them up over one edge of the city with stampin' dimensionals or foam mounting tape.
I hope this makes sense. Either way, I would love to see what you do try.
