I made this card to fulfill the criteria of using blue and brown and a scallop.
After discovering how big the big vine was in this lovely Flourishes set, it was time to try the little one. I used Marvy markers to ink it up and stamped it onto a piece of Basic Grey Gypsy. I scalloped the top edge and layered it onto brown Bazzill. I tied my ribbon around it, rounded the corners and added it to a blue base card. I put gold Stickles between each scallop on the brown layer, and all round the edges. The bottom looked a bit bare, so I punched out 3 daisies, and coloured some plain Dew Drops blue with alcohol ink. Then I just added a sentiment up the side.
joyfuljan was looking for some RAK cards for her MIL who was in an accident Forums at Splitcoaststampers, so that was what I had in mind when making this. In view of the fact that it has a long way to go in the post I used Glossy Accents along the ends of the ribbon to stop them fraying too much.
It qualifes for WT challenge of using corner punches, too
