Another card for the November 2008 VSN Mini. This was the "Quick Costume Change" challenge, featuring the Emerging Colors Technique. This was a new technique for me, and I found it quite a challenge!
After a couple of tries, I decided to skip the final step of stamping a detailed stamp in darker ink over the first two layers of stamping. So, here I have just the base layer of 2 colors of bold image, plus the large, bold image embossed with clear ep and then the color added with a brayer.

This is just GREAT! You totally got the technique - I didn't do the last step, either. I think I like the results much better without the last steps. I am in love with your color combination and the center monogram is just so elegant. Thanks so much for playing my challenge!

Dude! I never would have thought to use this technique for the background! It rocks out! Thank you so much for sharing! I feel so inspired!

I think this turned out sooo pretty. I love this set (Illuminations) but it is really hard to use in a design. I love that bold Baroque bg, another of my favorites that can be challenging. The fact that you combined these on one card with the technique just rocks. Way to go!
