What a great technique! I had never done this one before. It was the perfect opportunity to show you one of the new stamps available on Our Daily Bread Designs tomorrow!!
I stamped the verse in vintage photo distress ink, then wiped a sapphire blue marker over it, then used versamark to cover it and embossed it with clear EP - about 5 times. Then I put it in the freezer for about 5 minutes, took it out and 'cracked the glass'. Then I rubbed some of the vintage photo ink into the cracks. For even more of a vintage look, I cut the leather frame from some faux leather (vinyl wall covering!), and added some old gold buttons and a chocolate ribbon.
It's sooo late here and I'm falling asleep, but will have details on my blog in the morning!
happy dreams,
Jami
