As I just started playing in the featured Stamper Challenge last week, and have done only 2 last week, and this weeks challenge, I did not know that 3 Sunday's ago the Featured Stamper was Anne Ryan.
Anne found me a couple of weeks ago and has just been the sweeted most encouraging up lifting SCS friend to me!
She has been so kind to me, and encouraged me when I was down, offered to help me when I could not upload anymore, she leaves the most
Amazing, wonderfully sweet, ego boosting, Make you want to smile and do the Happy Dance comments on so many of my cards.
I know she does not know how much that means to me!
So even though I doubt this card will get viewed much since the challenge is old, I wanted to do this card to honor Anne!!!!
Now as I did not really notice most of my cards end up being pretty bright and vibrant colors. I do not see myself as really having colors I like to use or shades I like to use better. (however I have a huge, huge aversion to anything Brown or brown shades!) Just a quirk of mine. I will use Brown if I have to, but you can not make me like it! Anyway last week Anne commented on one of my cards that I sure like to use bright colors. At first that hit me as funny because I use so many colors in so many ways, but after I went back and looked at my gallery I thought wow most of my cards are very colorful in bright tones! :-)
Anyway I looked thru Anne's whole gallery looking for a Card I could make an attempt at. I ended up going all the way back to her very first upload.
Anne has such a unique Elegant style, and I do not think I own any of the same stamps as her! At least I have not seen any we both have.
I did have Lily and her Raincoat dress up set, so I used those in place of Anne's little figure standing in a water puddle and holding an Umbrella.
So I changed the Colors a bit, and the Stamps she used.
I stayed with the same layout, and same muted color idea I just had to use greens and gray's instead of golds and browns! :-)
I hope you like it and it sort of holds a candle to Anne's lovely, inspiring, simply gorgeous work!
I have more details, detailed photo's and cropped images on my Stamping Blog:

Sweet Heather, this is just fabulous, simply fabulous! I love your image and it's a perfect card for the cased card! Only trouble, though, is that your's is so much cuter! Wow, am I impressed! How sweet of you to come back 3 weeks after the fact to make a card from my gallery! As a Mom with 3 small little ones running around, I'm totally in awe that you would find time to make a card for me. This card totally rocks, and I'm lovin those colors together along with those rain drops. I know I'll never mention or suggest using brown of any sort to you! Now I know. Thanks so much, Heather, for making this card and uploading it into my FS gallery! You rock, girl! Thanks again sweet girl!
