This is for my daughter, who is off in College having fun. I just got this stamp, and love it with the Rub-Ons! I toned down the kiwi kiss color, by burnishing in very vanilla craft after I had clear embossed it. I actually stamped the image in very vanilla, but i didn't get the effect I was going for, so I just embossed it. I used the Papertreyink white cardstock, it is just so nice and thick and perfect for using the nestabilities to emboss with.
After I cut my green square out using my nestibilities, I layered a piece of black cardstock underneath it. I then used the next size down in the squares to get the inside black edge. To complete the embossing, I just layed the very next square nestabilities down, and embossed on the white. I used the rub-ons to get the image, and a scroll from Papertreyink for the bottom. Finished it off with Martha Stewart ribbon from last year.... I hoard ribbon....obviously!
I also used my stampin up thingy,.... I don't know what you call it, to rough the edges of the black paper. Card dimensions are 5x5
