This card is for a stamping friend - one of all those wonderful ladies who kept me up during the rough times I had after my dh's kidney transplantation.
I created the background with silk inks and Shimmering Mist which I drippled, wiped and sprayed onto a totally wet watercolor paper. Then I overstamped the crackle texture with white pigment ink and finally embossed the image with golden powder (I embossed the blossoms twice). Everything else is pretty easy - some cuttlebug embossing, some hand-drawn lines and a Fiskars Border punch.
I hope my friend will like this card!

This is wonderful! The colors are stunning! I love the torn edges of the Thinking of you and the rich colors of the matting paper! Just gorgeous!

This is gorgeous Christiane!!! You really are talented, very artistic. I love your work because you leave it open to some interpretation. When I look at this I see the sun shining through and nurturing the flowers. I also see a cross made with your sentiment crossing the gold wrap. That's what I see and think it is beautiful.
