To make the Santa image I used my circle and oval scallop and classic Nestabilities (face and beard), SU ½ circle punch (pompom), SU ¼ circle punch (eyes, nose, mouth), SU round tab punch (hat). I also used two black brads for his eyes to add more dimension. The cheeks are colored with SU pastels. Since I was in the mode to use my tools, I also used my paper piercer and gel pen to add some faux stitching, my scallop edge to highlight the designer paper and my SU distressing tool on the paper edges. I had to stop myself before adding ribbon as I was getting a little out of control.
This did not take as much time to make as it did to describe and it looks really cute. Thanks for the inspiration Kay Marie!
