This is a LO of my great grandma about 1920. She is standing in front of a plum tree which was blown over in a storm...thus the title! The orange pp with black and gray dots is a scan of the actual material of the dress she was wearing. (BTW, according to my 96 yo grandma, my great grandma made the dress. It was one of the few that she had and she was very proud of it!) I made the flowers using "Quick" Yo-Yo maker by Clover (bought at JoAnns). The gray flower is made out of a tee-shirt! The squares in the upper right side of LO are actual earrings! I used pliers and removed the backs. They were the old clip-on style earrings. The lace in the background is a scrap from a dress I made for dd in 1984! Finally, the little "doily" thingy in the lower left next to the flowers is a piece that my grandma tatted and I found in her with her tatting supplies.
